Huan Peng

I'm a Ph.D. candidate in Earth & Environmental Sciences at the University of Minnesota, exploring precipitation dynamics in porous media for In situ Carbon Mineralization. My academic roots are in China, with a B.S. from HUST and an M.S. from Tsinghua University, culminating in my research with the Kang Group since 2021.

When not engaged in geoscience research, I recharge by running, swimming, and hiking, or I strategize over a game of Catan or Chinese Chess.
